About Me
I’m a Black male author born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and raised in Pennsylvania after moving there at seven years old. I’m a father of three, and my children are the illustrators and artists behind many of my creative projects. Their imagination, talent, and unique perspectives inspire me to keep creating.
I’ve always loved science fiction, anime, action, and horror. But my first love and greatest obsession was books. As a child, books opened doors to worlds I could escape into, explore, and call my own. They sparked a love of storytelling that has stayed with me throughout my life.
Even in school, I found ways to turn assignments into stories. My teachers would allow me to write creatively, grading me on how well my stories followed the topic and how effectively I told them. Those experiences helped me discover that writing was more than a hobby—it was something I truly cared about.
Today, I create books, games, and merchandise with a focus on imagination, compassion, and the impact stories can have on young minds. I believe children deserve stories that entertain them, encourage curiosity, and help them understand the world and the people around them. Through my work, I hope to inspire young readers to dream bigger, embrace their creativity, and see the value in kindness and compassion.
My goal is to create stories that children can enjoy, learn from, and carry with them long after they close the book.
